World Fantasy Awards Nomination

Locus Online have posted the list of nominees for the 2011 World Fantasy Awards and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I’ve made the shortlist for Best Artist.  This is the first time I’ve been nominated for a World Fantasy Award so I’m absolutely delighted!  You can see the full list of nominees below:

      Thanks Hayden. I think the final winners are selected by a panel of judges that are selected by the World Fantasy Awards Administration and the winners will be announced at this year’s World Fantasy Con in October.

      Thanks Bill.  I just feel extremely honoured to be shortlisted with other such talented artists – I met John Picacio earlier this year at World Horror Con and not only is he a brilliant artist but a great guy and I’ve been a long-time fan of Shaun Tan. So getting the nomination made my day! :)
