Nuri’s Song by Ruth Anderson-Davis

Here’s a wonderful song by singer-songwriter Ruth Anderson-Davis; entitled Nuri’s Song, it was written as a tribute to Carlos Ruiz Zafón’s novel, The Shadow of the Wind.  The song, about the character Nuri Monfort, perfectly captures the sense of tragic unrequited love with it’s beautifully haunting, melancholic melodies and lyrics.  Be sure to give it a listen (especially if you’re a fan of the book!) and if you like it, make sure you stop by at Ruth’s website, ruthandersondavis.com, where you can listen to a selection of her other songs.
